If you have any further inquiry or question about Mobbles and your privacy, please send us an emali at privacy@mobbles.com. We take our user’s privacy very seriously.
Mobbles Corp. ("Mobbles" "we" "us" or "our") wants everyone to have an enjoyable experience with the Mobbles app (the "App"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") is our way of explaining how we use consumer information accessed by our App and website (located at www.mobbles.com; "Website"). It covers information that we may collect, how it may be used, and who has access to it.
"Personal Information" refers to information that can be used to identify, contact, or locate an individual.
Our App includes two versions of gameplay: one for players 13 years old or older, and another for players younger than 13. Our App does not collect Personal Information from players who are younger than 13.
We collect an email address each time a player registers for the Mobbles newsletter.
Our App accesses a player's location to randomly position Mobbles characters near that player's geographic location. Our App may send notifications to a player's device that these characters are near, regardless of whether the player is using our App at that moment. We do not share or store player location information.
In addition to Personal Information, we have access to information about players' mobile devices (e.g. the current version of the device's operating system) and their usage of our App. "Non-Personal Information" refers to data that is not directly linked to any specific individual. This information is collected by Google Analytics and our web server, primarily through the use of cookies and pixel tags. Google's Privacy Policy is publicly available (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy/). A custom device identifier is randomly generated when our App is installed--it's deleted when the App is deleted.
Cookies, small files that a webpage places on your hard drive for identification purposes, are the primary tool for tracking Non-Personal Information on our Website. Among other things, cookies help websites recognize the difference between a new visitor and a returning visitor. Pixel tags (also called web beacons or GIFs) are tiny blocks of code used to track players' traffic patterns. Please note that you may choose to limit the ability of cookies to read data from your computer. If you prefer not to receive cookies while browsing our website, you can change the settings on your browser to notify you before it accepts cookies. You can also configure your browser settings to automatically refuse all cookies. Note that if you refuse cookies, some webpages will not function properly.
Common ways that we may use both Personal and Non-Personal Information include troubleshooting and improving our App and Website.
A username and password are created by a player when registering for an App user profile. Players may not use an email address as their Mobbles username.
We use player accounts to organize and track game elements for each player (e.g. the Mobbles characters a player has collected). We may also use the information in player accounts to improve gameplay and resolve account problems.
Mobbles does not disclose player information to any third party for business purposes. However, our App and Website use products from third parties, including Flurry, Appsalar and Mailchimp, that help us understand player behavior and distribute our newsletter. We have no influence over their information practices and invite you to review their privacy policies (www.flurry.com/privacy-policy.html; www.appsalar.com/ privacy-policy; www.mailchimp.com/legal/privacy).
We will not ask your permission to disclose information described in this Policy when required by applicable law or when there is a good faith belief that this action would be necessary to:
- conform to any applicable law or to comply with any legal process served upon us,We may transfer player information in the event Mobbles or the App is purchased or managed by another entity (e.g. in case of a company merger). In this event, the new entity would be required to protect player privacy.
This Policy is governed by the laws of The State of California, without regard to any conflict of law principles.
We may update this Policy on occasion. Changes are effective as of the date included in the current version of the Policy. The most recent version of this Policy will be available at our Website (www.mobbles.com/website/privacy).
If you have any questions or concerns about our practices and policies, feel free to contact us by sending an email to privacy@mobbles.com. If you are a parent who wants to review, delete or limit your child's account information, please contact us at parents@mobbles.com.
